Height Input Box
A - Arrow
Height is measured from the ground to the arrow (A) on the front
of the receiver dome.
To enter height:
-
Select Height input box.
-
Enter height using numeric keypad.
-

Under or over compensation for machine roll angles occur if
height is incorrectly entered during setup.
Example: A 10 degree slope with a receiver height error of 30.5
cm (12 in) results in a position offset of 5 cm (2 in) on ground.
Factory default setting is 320 cm (126 in). On some AutoTrac equipped
machines, height value is automatically detected and entered during
power up. Measure actual distance each time terrain compensation module
(TCM) is installed on a different machine. This dimension is critical
for proper operation of TCM and varies due to machine configuration
and tire sizes. For greatest accuracy, manually measure receiver height
distance.
NOTE: Actual height varies depending on tire size or tire inflation.
