Satellite Information

Active Implement Guidance is dependent on the distribution of satellites providing global positioning system (GPS) signals. Position dilution of precision (PDOP) (A) is an indicator of GPS satellite coverage at receiver. A lower PDOP value indicates better satellite coverage for calculating both horizontal and vertical position.

Before tuning or adjusting Active Implement Guidance sensitivity values, verify that PDOP value is below 2.5. Sensitivity values set when PDOP value is above 2.5 are inaccurate and must be readjusted.
