AutoTrac™ Implement Guidance (passive)

AutoTrac™ Implement Guidance (passive) is used to improve accuracy in changing field conditions, curved passes, and sloped terrain. AutoTrac™ Implement Guidance (passive) drives the machine in a way that keeps the implement on the guidance line.

AutoTrac™ Implement Guidance uses the implement profile measurements in the Equipment Manager application and the GPS signals from the machine and implement receivers. This information is used to determine the location of the implement receiver in relation to the machine receiver. Based on the guidance line, AutoTrac™ Implement Guidance steers the machine so the implement follows the guidance line. This may cause the machine to travel off the guidance line.

Navigate to Equipment Manager

1. Select Menu.

2. Select Applications tab.

3. Select Equipment Manager application.

NOTE: When implement guidance is enabled, the guidance lightbar module shows the distance the machine must steer off the guidance line to compensate for implement drift.

Settings Icon

Select Settings icon to enable AutoTrac™ Implement Guidance (passive).

NOTE: Implement guidance toggle is unavailable when using AutoTrac™ Controller or AutoTrac™ Universal.

Implement guidance can be affected by changes in field conditions, changes in environmental conditions, and improper machine or implement setup.

Requirements:

• 4640 Universal Display with version 10.10.404-345 or newer software
• Implement Guidance activation
• Machine-mounted StarFire™ 3000 or 6000 Receiver with SF2, SF3, or RTK signal
• Implement-mounted StarFire™ 3000 or 6000 Receiver with SF2, SF3, or RTK signal

NOTE: If using receivers with different signal strengths, the machine receiver must have the better signal.

Shared signal for implement receiver is automatically set to on.

Navigate to Software Manager

1. Select Menu.

2. Select Systems tab.

3. Select Software Manager application.
