Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin, causing serious injury. Relieve pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other lines. Tighten all connections before applying pressure. Keep hands and body away from pinholes and nozzles which eject fluids under high pressure. To search for leaks, use a piece of cardboard or wood. DO NOT use a hand. If ANY fluid is injected into the skin, it must be surgically removed within a few hours by a doctor familiar with this type of injury or gangrene can result.

Hydraulic hoses can fail due to physical damage, kinks, age, and exposure. Check the hoses regularly. Replace damaged hoses.

  2. Cycle the loader.

  3. Ensure that the loader reacts correctly to the control lever movement. See the tractor Operator's Manual for more information.

  4. Prevent possible injury from escaping hydraulic oil under pressure, relieve the system pressure by stopping the engine and operating control levers.
