Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin, causing
serious injury. Relieve pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or
other lines. Tighten all connections before applying pressure. Keep
hands and body away from pinholes and nozzles which eject fluids under
high pressure. To search for leaks, use a piece of cardboard or paper.
DO NOT use a hand. If ANY fluid is injected into the skin, it must
be surgically removed within a few hours by a doctor familiar with
this type of injury or gangrene can result.Check for loose hydraulic fittings.
□ Hydraulic hoses can fail due to physical damage, kinks,
age, and exposure. Check the hoses regularly. Replace damaged hoses.
□ Check for hydraulic oil leaks. (See Tighten Hydraulic
Fittings and Hoses in Service section.)
□ Check for missing or loose hardware. (See Every 50 Hours
in Lubrication and Maintenance section.)
□ Check the tractor transmission and hydraulic fluid level.
See the tractor Operator's Manual for more information.
