Attach Ballast Box to Tractor with 3-Point Hitch
Prevent possible injury from tractor instability. Be
sure to attach the ballast box AFTER attaching the loader. Prevent
possible injury or machine damage whenever the ballast box is attached.
Put the transmission in the PARK position and check the full range
of the hitch for interference or binding. DO NOT stand between the
tractor and ballast box.

A - Center Link Mounting Hardware
B - Quick-Lock Pin (2 used)
Back up the tractor to the ballast box with hitch points
approximately in alignment.

Engage the park brake
or place the transmission in PARK.

Shut off engine and remove
ignition key.

Attach the tractor draft
links. Fasten with quick-lock pins (B) (stored on the tractor draft
links).

Align the center link
with the upper hole in mounting straps and install the center link
mounting hardware (A).

Start the engine.

Raise the ballast box.
Check for interference. Lower the hitch to the ground and adjust the
center link and/or lift links if necessary. (See the tractor Operator’s
Manual for more information.
