Lubricate and Maintain Loader Safely

Prevent bodily injury from accidental lowering of the loader. Do not perform service around the front of tractor with the loader elevated and unsupported. Before lubricating or servicing the loader or tractor, perform the following:
  1. Place transmission in PARK.
  2. Relieve hydraulic pressure. (See Relieve Hydraulic Pressure in Controls section.)
  3. Shut off engine and remove ignition key.

NOTE: If servicing the tractor requires the loader to be elevated (see Service Loader and Tractor Safely (Loader Attached) in Service section).
