Tighten Mounting Frame Hardware

  1. IMPORTANT:

    Prevent possible damage to the tractor or loader caused by operating with loose mounting frames. Tightening the loader mounting frame hardware after the first 3 hours of loader operation is critical. Tighten again after 10 hours and again after every 50 hours.

    6105M, 6115M, 6125M, 6105R, 6115R, 6125R, 5M Series, 5100M, 6030 Series, 6030P Series, 6020 Series, 6010 Series, 6000 Series, 6X05 Series, and 6X15 Series Tractors: Tighten seven cap screws (A, B, and C), on both sides, to specification using the tightening sequence shown.

    NOTE: Side-discharge exhaust pipe (C) (if equipped) must be removed to access the left-hand mounting frame cap screws.

    5065M, 5075M, 5085M, 5095M, 5100M (Augusta), 5105M, and 5115M MFWD Tractors:

    1. Remove the left-hand side-discharge exhaust pipe (C), if equipped:

      1. Loosen clamp hardware (A).
      2. Remove and retain support bracket hardware (B) and exhaust pipe (C).

    2. Tighten hardware to specification in the sequence shown.

    3. Install side-discharge exhaust pipe (C), if equipped. Position pipe as shown, tighten clamp hardware (A) and fasten the pipe to the support bracket using hardware (B).
