Each machine has an identification label. The letters and numbers identify a component or assembly. All these characters are necessary when ordering parts or identifying the machine for any John Deere product support program. When ordering parts, always furnish the model and serial number as given on the serial number label. It assists a John Deere dealer in giving you prompt and efficient service. If the loader is ever stolen, they are needed by law enforcement to trace the machine.

The serial number label is on the inside of the left-hand boom at the mast.

Record the serial number in the space provided.

This label also includes CE information, which indicates that the loader conforms with the applicable requirements of the Machine Directive 2006/42/EC.
