Weight, such as sand or concrete can be added to the ballast box (A). If more weight is required, tractor QuikTach™ weights can be used.To increase the capacity of the ballast box, a ballast box extension is available. See a John Deere dealer for more information.
A 3-point hitch-mounted implement can be used as ballast, but it must meet the weight requirements of the ballast chart. See a John Deere dealer for more information.
