Prepare the Tractor (300R and 320R Loaders)

1. Prepare the tractor for the loader. Refer to Prepare Tractor section for the following:

   • Remove the front weights
   • Tire requirements
   • Tread settings
   • Rear ballast requirements
   
   

2. 3X20, 4X00, 4X10 Series, 3203, and 4005 tractors: Inspect the weight bracket.

3. Install mounting frames. Refer to Installation Instructions available online to John Deere dealers.

4. 3X20, 4X00, 4X10 Series, 3203, 4005, and 4105 tractors: Install the hood guard. Refer to Installation Instructions available online to John Deere dealers.

   855, 955, 870, 970, 1070, and 990 Tractors: Install the front weight bracket and hood guard. Refer to Installation Instructions available online to John Deere dealers.
