Use Bucket Loops (If Equipped)

Prevent possible injury or death. Improper lifting can cause crushing:

  • Always use both bucket loops when carrying an object.
  • DO NOT work under a raised object.
  • Use appropriate chain and hook or clevis. For example, 9.525 mm (3/8 in) Grade 30 or higher, for maximum lift capacity.

DO NOT use the loader to tow or pull objects, which can damage the loader.

Adjust the boom and bucket height until you can fasten the chain to the object.

  2. Fasten the chain to the object as close to the bucket as possible using both bucket loops (A).

  3. To aid visibility and lower the center of gravity, carry loads close to the ground.

  4. Avoid jerking or swinging the object suddenly.

  5. Avoid carrying material wider than the bucket.
