Avoid Rollover Accidents

Prevent possible injury or death caused by a tractor rollover. Install a rollover protective structure (ROPS) and add the proper ballast to the tractor.

• Equip the tractor with a rollover protective structure (ROPS) and wear a seat belt.
• Be sure that the tractor tread widths and rear ballast is correct before using the loader.
• If the tractor is equipped with 4-WD, be sure that it is engaged during loader operation.
• Carry loads low to the ground.
• Use low tractor speeds.
• Stop the loader gradually when lowering or lifting loads.
• Avoid traveling across slopes.
• Refer to the tractor Operator’s Manual for operating procedures.
