A - Groove

B - Seat

1. Inspect the groove (A) and seat (B).

2. Flat face O-ring seal: Apply petroleum jelly to the O-ring and place in the groove.

   O-ring boss: Install the O-ring carefully over threads.

3. Install fittings by hand until snug. Position the adjustable fittings by unscrewing no more than one turn.

4. Tighten according to specifications. (See Tighten Hydraulic Fittings and Hoses in this section.)
