Prepare the Loader (300E Loader)

Prevent possible injury from a falling loader. Support the loader with an overhead hoist during disassembly and assembly.

Avoid crushed oil lines. DO NOT wrap chains around the torque tube. Chains can crush oil lines, making replacement necessary.

    Remove and discard the banding (B).



  2. Prevent possible injury. Use a lifting device to remove the mast assembly. Approximate weight of each mast is 28 kg (62 lb).

    Use a lifting device and remove the mast assembly from the pallet.

  3. Remove and discard the banding (C).

  4. Remove contents from the bucket.

  5. Remove the bundle of oil lines that are attached to the boom with shipping wires.

  6. Remove the bucket from the pallet.

  7. Lay the loader assembly on a hard, level surface, using an overhead hoist with lifting straps.

  8. Shown with the left-hand side wooden support removed.

    Remove the wooden support (F) from the left-hand side of the loader assembly.

  9. Remove the shipping wire from the left-hand lift cylinder (D) and pivot the loader to the ground.

  10. Prevent possible injury. Position the safety stand (E) toward the rear of the loader assembly as shown.

    Rest the left-hand side of the loader assembly on the safety stand (E).

    A - Shipping Brace

    Remove the shipping brace (A) from the left-hand side of the pallet.



  12. Repeat on the opposite side.

    Cut paint mask rings off all cylinders.

    B - Bucket Level Indicator Decal

    Ensure decal adhesion. Before applying new decals, clean all dirt, grease, oil, and moisture from application area. Surface must be at least 15°C (60°F) when the decal is applied.

    Place the indicator decal (B) next to the right-hand hook (A) as shown. Refer to Safety Signs section for all safety decal locations.

    Clean the area on the bucket where the decal is located.



  15. Remove the paper backing from the decal.

  16. Align and press one edge of the decal on the surface as shown.

  17. Smooth out air pockets while slowly pressing across the decal to the opposite edge. Ensure complete decal adhesion.
