A - Boot

B - Ball Joint (3 used)

Lubricate bearings on the single-lever ICV.

  1. Pull off the boot (A) and slide up the shaft.

  2. Apply grease liberally to the outside surface of each ball joint (B). Move the lever in all directions to ensure that the lubricant penetrates ball joints.

  3. Install the boot.
