Lubricate and Maintain Loader Safely

Prevent possible injury from an accidental lowering of the loader. DO NOT perform service in the front of the tractor with the loader raised and unsupported. Before lubricating or servicing the loader, perform the following:

  1. Engage the park brake or place the transmission in PARK.
  2. Lower the loader to the ground.
  3. Shut off engine and remove ignition key.
  4. Relieve the hydraulic pressure. (See Relieve Hydraulic Pressure in Controls section.)
