A - Groove

B - Seat

1. Inspect the groove (A) and seat (B).

2. Flat face O-ring seal: Apply petroleum jelly to the O-ring and place in the groove.

   O-ring boss: Install the O-ring over threads.

3. Install fittings until hand tight. Position adjustable fittings by unscrewing no more than one turn.

4. Tighten according to specifications. (See Tighten Hydraulic Fittings and Hoses in this section.)
