Remove Ballast Box

Prevent possible injury caused by an unexpected tractor movement:

1. Park machine on a hard, level surface.
2. Engage the park brake or place the transmission in PARK.
3. Disengage the PTO.
4. Shut off engine and remove ignition key.

A - Center Link

B - Quick-Lock Pin (3 used)

1. Lower the ballast box to the ground.

2. Remove quick-lock pins (B) from hitch pins and install in the storage position on the tractor draft links.

3. Remove the tractor draft links from ballast box pins.

4. Remove the quick-lock pin (B) from the center link (A). Position the tractor center link in the transport location. Reinstall the center link pin and hardware.

5. Start the engine and drive the tractor away.

A - Latch Lever (2 used)

1. Lower the ballast box so it is slightly off the ground.

2. Engage the park brake and place the transmission in PARK.

3. Raise both latch levers (A) on the quick-hitch.

4. Lower the ballast box to the ground. Continue lowering the quick-hitch until hooks clear ballast box pins.

5. Start the engine and drive the tractor away.
