A - Shutoff Valve
Normally, the engine compartment and the front of the tractor
can be accessed with the bucket flat on the ground. However, due to
tractor size and tire variations, it can be necessary to service the
tractor or loader with the loader elevated.
Prevent possible injury from an accidental lowering
of the loader. DO NOT perform service around the front of the tractor
with the loader elevated unless the shutoff valve is closed, locking
the loader in the elevated position. DO NOT use the shutoff valve
alone to lock the loader in an elevated position for servicing the
tractor. Support the loader with floor stands or lifting straps/chains
connected to an overhead hoist.
-
Raise the loader to the desired height and support the elevated
loader with floor stands or lifting straps/chains connected to an
overhead hoist.
-
Engage the park brake or place the transmission in PARK.
-
Shut off engine and remove ignition key.
-
Turn the shutoff valve handle (A) clockwise to lock the loader
in the elevated position.
The shutoff valve is on the lift circuit (blue disk) hose.
