Adjusting Toe-In-Adjustable Front Axle-Early Model Tractor

1. Loosen lock nuts (A) on both ends of tie rod.

2. Adjust inner tube (C) to lengthen or shorten tie rod until toe-in is 3-6 mm (1/8-1/4 in.)

Tie Rod Rotation Approximate Change in Toe-in
1/2 turn 8 mm (5/16 in.)
1 turn 16 mm (5/8 in.)

 

3. Tighten lock nuts (A) to specification. Do not overtighten as damage to the tube may occur.
