Ballasting Front End for Transport
CAUTION:
Additional front ballast may be needed for transporting rear-mounted implements. When implement is raised, drive slowly over rough ground, regardless of how much ballast is used.
CAUTION:
Weights are heavy. Use proper lifting equipment. Approximate weight of starter weights is: 45 kg (100 lb) for 5220 and 5320 and 125 kg (275 lb) for 5420 and 5520. Approximate weight of QUIK-TATCH

Installing QUIK-TATCH Weights: QUIK-TATCH weights can be installed on the front of the tractor.
5220 and 5320:
One starter weight and up to 8 QUIK-TATCH weights can be installed.
5420 and 5520:
One starter weight and up to 10 QUIK-TATCH weights can be installed.
1.
Install weights in pairs, one on each side of center (A).
2.
To hold weights in place, run retaining bolts (B) through holes from side-to-side. Tighten to specification.
