Every 50 Hours
  • Check transmission-hydraulic system oil level
  • Check MFWD axle oil level
  • Clean and check battery
  • Inspect all tires and check inflation pressure
  • Lubricate front axle pivot pin
  • Lubricate steering cylinder ends and steering spindles (adjustable front axle)
  • Lubricate steering king pins (MFWD)
  • Inspect tractor for loose hardware
Every 250 Hours
  • Clean and check battery
  • Change engine oil and filter
  • Replace transmission-hydraulic filter
  • Service air cleaner
  • Clean cab air filters
  • Inspect and adjust alternator/fan belt
  • Inspect and adjust A/C compressor belt (cab-5220 and 5320)
  • Lubricate 3-point hitch
  • Check neutral start system
  • Check clutch pedal free play-CollarShift and SyncShuttle™ Tractors
  • Clutch pedal linkage adjustment-PowrReverser™ Tractors
  • Clean operator enclosure (cab) air filters
  • Adjust PTO clutch operating linkage (cab and isolated open operator station)
  • Adjust PTO clutch operating rod (straddle mount and hi-crop)
  • Have your John Deere dealer:

    -Check brake pedal adjustment

Every 500 Hours
  • Replace fuel filter
