Stopping Tractor with PowrReverser™ Transmission

IMPORTANT: Tractor must be stopped before placing F-N-R lever in park position. Park pawl will not engage, and transmission may be damaged if tractor is moving.

1. Stop tractor using brakes.

causym CAUTION: Always place transmission range lever in neutral (N) position and F-N-R lever in park position before dismounting as indicated in the warning label as shown. Leaving transmission in gear with engine stopped WILL NOT prevent tractor from moving.

Ensure that the appropriate warning label is attached to the tractor. See Safety Signs section for location.

2. Move F-N-R lever (A) through neutral gate and down into park position. Move transmission range lever into neutral (N) position.

3. Lower all equipment to ground using rockshaft control lever (B).

4. Pull hand throttle (C) back to slow idle position. Allow engine to idle for one to two minutes.

causym CAUTION: Remove key from key switch to prevent operation by untrained personnel.

IMPORTANT: Cooling of certain engine parts is provided by engine oil. Stopping a hot engine suddenly could cause damage to these parts by overheating or lack of lubrication.

5. Turn key switch to the OFF position.
