Optimizing A/C and Heater Performance

Deicing or Demisting the Windshield:

Set the air conditioning to maximum heat output. Aim the two front vents (A) towards the windshield. Closing off the other vents may be helpful until the windshield is cleared.

Heating and Cooling:

To heat or cool your body more efficiently, aim the individual vents, on each side of the headliner, to different parts of your body.

  • Aim front vents (B) toward legs and mid-body.
  • Aim middle vents (C) toward your head.
  • Aim rear vents (D) toward your back.
