  • Service air cleaner 1
  • Clean cab air filters 1
  • Adjust hand throttle friction
  • Replace in-line fuel strainer/filter
  • Clean and check battery
  • Lubricate front axle pivot pin 2
  • Lubricate steering spindles 2
  • Lubricate rear axle bearings 2
  • Lubricate operators seat slide rails (Open Station) 3
  • Lubricate hood latch 3
  • Adjust 540/540E PTO lever and linkage
  • Have your John Deere dealer:
    • Service air-conditioning system
    • Check brake pedal adjustment
    • Inspect fuel injectors (5425N and 5525N)
