Using External Raise and Lower Switches

causym CAUTION: To prevent injury or damage caused by tractor movement, be sure transmission is in PARK position before using external raise and lower switches. Stay clear of interference points when using external switches.

Fender mounted switches allow rockshaft to be operated at a distance from the operator's position. Rockshaft raises and lowers at a slower rate, while height and depth settings are ignored. Fender switches are disabled when hitch is in transport position.

Press and hold switch to move rockshaft:

  • Top switch-Raise implement
  • Bottom switch-Lower implement

NOTE: Once either switch has been activated, the rockshaft is prevented from moving accidentally. To make the rockshaft ready for operation again, return to the operator's station and:

  • Move hitch control lever (A) to position that corresponds to position of the draft links

  • Actuate raise/lower switch (B)
