Preparing Implement

IMPORTANT: When attaching Category I implements to the tractor, sway blocks may need adjustment to prevent binding and limiting full raise of the hitch. (See ADJUSTING SWAY BLOCKS in this section.)

Category IN (A) and I (B), 3-Point Hitches are narrower and used on smaller implements than Category II (C) implements. Refer to the chart below to identify implement category.

Category II implements should have the top hole of the implement mast located 483 mm (19 in.) above the lower pins. Drill another hole in top mast or extend top mast if necessary.
