Drain Water and Sediment from Fuel Tank and Fuel Filter

NOTE: Fuel tank drain is located at front of fuel tank on left-hand side. Place a small container under drain fitting to catch draining fuel. Dispose of waste properly.

IMPORTANT: The fuel filter must be drained when water or debris are evident in the sediment bowl. If this reoccurs more than three days in a row then drain the sediment from the fuel tank

1. Open fuel tank drain plug (A) to bleed accumulated moisture and sediment from the fuel tank. Tighten plug when clear fuel runs from fitting.

2. Raise hood.

3. Open fuel filter/water separator drain (B) to bleed accumulated moisture and sediment from filter. Tighten drain when clear fuel runs from drain.

4. Lower hood.
