Adjusting Lateral Float
To allow draft link to rise slightly as implement follows ground contour, put pin head and rectangular washer in vertical position (A).
To hold implement rigid, place pin head and rectangular washer in horizontal position (B).

Float position:
Hitch-mounted implements (cultivator or mower), which have ground gauging skids or wheels which may cause the implement to twist relative to the tractor.

Rigid position:
Plows and ground engaging implements that should not twist relative to the tractor.
