Clean and Check Battery

To access battery, see procedure in Service section.

Engage PARKING brake, set brakes and pull fuel shut-off knob to turn engine OFF. Wipe battery with a damp cloth. Clean and tighten connections if needed. Check fluid level in each cell, fill to bottom of filler neck with clean mineral-free water. (See Servicing Battery in Service section.)
