Change Oil in MFWD Axle Housing

1. Tractor should be positioned on level ground to assure correct oil levels when filling.

2. Remove drain plug (B) and drain the oil.

3. Fill differential housing from oil filler plug (A) with John Deere GL-5 GEAR LUBRICANT or John Deere EXTREME-GARD ™ Gear Lubricant. (See Fuels, Lubricants and Coolant section.).

IMPORTANT: Check oil level after 30 minutes. Oil flows very slowly through bearings and axle housings. Fill through hub port on both sides and differential housing port to reduce fill time.
