VM Diesel Engine Oil

Use oil viscosity based on the expected air temperature range during the period between oil changes.

John Deere PLUS-50™ oil is preferred.

Oil meeting one of the following specifications are also recommended:

• ACEA Oil Sequence E2
• ACEA Oil Sequence B2

Extended service intervals may apply when John Deere PLUS-50 ™ , AGlP SUPERDIESEL MULTIGRADE 15W40 specifications API CF-4/SG ACEA E2,B2 MIL-L-46152 DIE engine oils are used. Consult your John Deere dealer for more information.

In the countries where AGIP product are not available, use oil API SJ/CF for diesel engine oil or oil corresponding to the military specification MIL-L-46152 DIE.

Other oils may be used if they meet one or more of the following:

• API Service Category SJ
• API Service Category CF

Multi-viscosity diesel engine oils are preferred.

Diesel fuel quality and fuel sulfur content must comply with all existing emissions regulations for the area in which the engine operates.

DO NOT use diesel fuel with sulfur content greater than 1.0% (10 000 ppm).
