Operate Foldable ROPS

causym CAUTION: Make certain all parts are installed correctly if roll-over protective structure (ROPS) is loosened or removed for any reason. Tighten mounting bolts to proper torque.

The protection offered by ROPS will be impaired if ROPS is subjected to structural damage, as in an overturn incident, or is in anyway altered by welding, bending, drilling or cutting. A damaged ROPS should be replaced, not reused. Any alteration to the ROPS must be approved by the manufacturer.

Always keep upper part of ROPS pinned in vertical position (as pictured) when operating tractor. If tractor is operated with ROPS folded (e.g. to enter a low building) drive with extreme caution and DO NOT use seat belt.

Fold the ROPS up again as soon as the tractor is operated under normal conditions.

To Lower ROPS Crossbar (C):

1. Remove quick-lock pins (A) and headed pins (B) from both sides of ROPS cross bar (C).

2. Lower ROPS crossbar (C) onto stops.

3. Reinstall pins (A and B) into holes of ROPS crossbar (C) to lock it down.

To Put ROPS in Operating Position:

1. Remove pins (A and B) from ROPS crossbar (C).

2. Lift ROPS crossbar (C) to position shown.

3. Reinstall pins (A and B) into bottom holes of ROPS crossbar (C) to lock in position.
