A - Dip Stick

B - Cross-Hatch Area

With tractor on level ground and before starting tractor, remove dipstick (A) and check oil level. Oil level should be in the cross-hatch area (B) on dipstick.

NOTE: Tighten dipstick to check oil. Holes in cross-hatch area are to make it easier to check oil.

IMPORTANT: Do not operate engine with oil level above the top or below the bottom of the crosshatch area on dipstick. Oil levels anywhere within crosshatch are considered in the acceptable operating range.

If oil is below crosshatch area on dipstick, add oil.
