Armrest Control Unit (ACU) Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Although the diagnostic codes listed below are not a complete list of the diagnostic trouble codes, they do reflect codes which may be observed while operating the tractor and have corrective action that the operator can correct. Many codes which appear may be corrected simply by recycling key switch or by following the solution on the CommandCenter™ page, then recycling tractor power.

If corrective action cannot be taken after recycling power to the tractor or if there are any questions, contact your John Deere™ dealer.

ACU 158.4	Rear PTO system	Reduce electrical load or increase engine RPM to attempt vehicle recovery.
ACU 581.7	Transmission System	Return to Park to attempt vehicle recovery.
ACU 523955.31	Transmission Load High	Change IVT to Auto Mode. Increase engine speed, reduce ground speed, or reduce load.
ACU 523960.17	Operator Not In Seat	Return to seated position.
ACU 523960.31	Operator Not In Seat	Sit down or press brake or clutch and select ’Park’ before driving.Operator out of seat. Return to seated position. Return vehicle to Park before resuming operation.
ACU 523961.2	Transmission system	Return to Park or restart engine to attempt vehicle recovery.
ACU 524020.31	Lever not in park	Place transmission lever in Park.
ACU 524224.2	Operator Controls	Cycle PTO switch and restart engine to attempt vehicle recovery.
