Connecting ISO Implements and Multiple ISO Displays

This message occurs when the system detects an ISOBUS implement. For more information, READ OPERATOR MANUALS FOR ISOBUS IMPLEMENTS.

In some cases it may be necessary to operate with more than one ISO terminal display. In such cases configure CommandCenter™ to recognize and operate in conjunction with a second ISO display.

General Recommendations:

  • Ensure that ignition is in OFF position when connecting auxiliary ISO displays or ISO implements.
  • Restore Factory Default Settings before disconnecting external ISO display.

GreenStar ™ applications

GreenStar™ applications cannot operate simultaneously on two displays.

Original GreenStar™

Original GreenStar™ monitor cannot operate simultaneously on two displays.

NOTE: All Original GreenStar monitor functionality can only be viewed via Original GreenStar display, if equipped.

Implement Bus Virtual Terminal

Implement Bus Virtual Terminal can be active on two ISO displays.

  • Enable Implement Bus to view an ISO implement on the CommandCenter™.
  • Disable Implement Bus to view an ISO implement on alternate ISO display.

NOTE: Functional instance box (I) may change depending on ISO implement. Consult ISO implement manual.

Tractor Bus Virtual Terminal

Tractor Bus Virtual Terminal cannot be disabled. No adjustment required.

  1. Select Menu button.

  2. Select Display.

  3. Select Advanced Settings softkey.

  4. Select Multiple Display.

  5. Display—Settings—Multiple Display page is displayed, select "Change Settings" button in lower left-hand corner.

    NOTE: When Save Settings and Restart Display button is selected, display restarts with correct settings.

  6. Configure page as desired, then select ”Save Settings and Restart Display” box in lower right corner of page.

Single Display Mode: No additional ISO display is connected. GreenStar™ will run on GS3 CommandCenter™. There is a ”Vehicle System” drop-down list with a 1 or a 0 on the Multiple Display Settings page. This option is used for implements that may not appear on the CommandCenter™ in Single Display Mode. The implement may not recognize the GS3 CommandCenter™. Select ”0” for the implement to communicate with the GS3 CommandCenter™.

NOTE: This option does not appear in multiple or custom display modes.

Multiple Display Mode: When connecting an ISO display, a message will appear after 90 seconds that tells the operator a second display has been detected. Operator is prompted to turn the key switch off and on. GreenStar™ will run on the second connected ISO display.

Custom Display Mode: Any time the operator changes a setting in Multiple Display Settings page, the display changes to Custom Display Mode. If the ISO display is removed while in Custom Display Mode, GreenStar™ will not reappear on the GS3 CommandCenter™.

NOTE: Checking Implement Bus box is necessary for operators who want to use Next VT to view an ISO implement, receiver, SeedStar™ II, and so on, on the GS3 CommandCenter™.

To Remove an ISO Display: Select Restore Factory Default Settings softkey on the Multiple Display Settings page. This button appears only if settings have been changed. After an ISO display has been removed, a message will appear on startup after 90 seconds that tells the operator a display has been removed. The GS3 CommandCenter™ will cycle power automatically to reset to Single Display Mode.

IMPORTANT: Only remove displays with key switch turned OFF.
