The Softshift feature provides smoother shifting between gears by providing short intermediate engine rpm adjustments between each gear shift.

• During an upshift, engine rpm will momentarily decrease at the beginning of the shift and then increase to current throttle setting.
• During a downshift, engine rpm will momentarily increase at the beginning of the shift and then decrease to the current throttle setting.

Press Transmission softkey, then the Advanced Settings softkey.

The momentary change in engine rpm may not be desirable during constant PTO rpm applications. If constant PTO rpm is desired, the operator should deactivate PTO Adjust (E) check box.
