Pull release loop (A) and raise hood.
Depress latch buttons (B) to remove right rear side shield.
Pull top of shield outward and lift shield from brackets on frame.
Clean exterior of filter and mounting area.
NOTE: Use a catch pan when draining fuel and removing the filter from the tractor.
Remove Water In Fuel (WIF) sensor connector (D).
Open drain valve (C) and drain fuel.
Remove primary (E) and secondary (F) filters and discard.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT prefill either fuel filter with fuel.
Lubricate gasket for primary fuel filter with fuel, and install canister onto base. Tighten 3/4 turn after packing contacts base.
Lubricate primary fuel filter water separator gasket with fuel and install onto filter canister. Tighten 3/4 of a full turn after gasket contacts the base.
Lubricate gasket for secondary fuel filter with fuel, and install filter onto base. Tighten 3/4 of a turn after packing contacts base.
Connect Water In Fuel (WIF) sensor connector.
IMPORTANT: Key must be turned to ON position for 3 minutes before starting engine to provide time to prefill fuel filters. Fuel system is self-bleeding.
Do not try to start engine until after 3 minute time elapses or an air lock in the fuel system may occur.
Turn key to ON position for 3 minutes to allow transfer pump to prefill fuel filters
Turn key switch clockwise to START position, and run engine at fast idle for 2 minutes.
