Checking Primary and Secondary Engine Air Filters

A - Cover

B - Clamps

Service interval may vary due to operating conditions. Replace secondary filter every second primary air filter change.

Replace the primary engine air filter if the filter indicator light remains ON.

1. Remove battery compartment cover.

2. Unfasten two clamps (B) and remove filter cover (A).

3. Pull handle (D) towards front of tractor to release from retainer (E).

4. Pull on handle (D) to remove primary air filter (C).

5. IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to clean filters.

   Replace secondary filter every second primary air filter change.

   Install new secondary filter immediately to prevent dust from entering air intake system.

   Clean dirt from inside of canister and cover.

6. IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to clean filters.

   Replace secondary filter every second primary air filter change.

   Install new secondary filter immediately to prevent dust from entering air intake system.

   F - Secondary Filter

   G - Handle

   H - Tab

   I - Slot

   Pull on handle (G) to slide top part of secondary filter (F) out first.

7. To replace secondary filter (F), place tab (H) in slot (I) first, then move the top part of the filter into place.

8. When installing primary air filter (C), make sure that filter is properly seated behind retainer (E).

IMPORTANT: Failure to properly install primary and secondary filters will cause damage to engine.
