1. Remove drain plugs (D) from axle housing and differential housing.

2. Install plugs (D) after oil has drained. Tighten to specifications.

3. Add John Deere™ Hy-Gard™ oil as specified in MFWD AXLE HOUSING AND WHEEL HUB OIL in Fuel, Lubricants and Coolant section, through fill hole (A) until oil is even with bottom of hole (A).

4. Install plug (A).

5. After a few minutes of operation, recheck oil level. Add more if necessary.

6. Apply pipe sealant with TEFLON®, or equivalent, to threads of plug (A).

7. Install plugs and tighten to specifications.
