Operating Pick-Up Hitch

1. NOTE: The pick-up hitch is operated using selective control valves. SCV I (B) raises or lowers pick-up hitch and SCV II (C) extends or retracts pick-up hitch.

   A - Lever

   B - SCV I Coupler

   C - SCV II Coupler

   D - Hook

   E - Drawbar

   F - Pins

   To release pick-up hitch, raise pick-up hitch while pulling lever (A) to the right then lower pick-up hitch to desired height.

2. Back up tractor and raise pick-up hitch so hitch hook engages in trailer towing eye.

3. Raise pick-up hitch to transport/locked position.

4. Check to make sure that pick-up hitch is in locked position. Pull release lever to the right. Lever should not move.

   CAUTION: Avoid bodily injury or machine damage whenever pick-up hitch is used. Before driving away, make sure that pick-up hitch is fully raised and locked in position. Adjust sway blocks or stabilizers to prevent interference or binding.

5. To change couplers, remove pins (F) and hook (D), then slide in drawbar (E) and install pins.
