Wheel Hub Oil With Front Brakes

Use oil viscosity based on the expected air temperature range during the period between oil changes.
Wheel hubs with brakes and wheel hubs without brakes require different oils. See your John Deere™ dealer to determine if your tractor contains front brakes in the front wheel hubs.
The following oils are preferred:
- John Deere™ Hy-Gard™
- John Deere™ Low Viscosity Hy-Guard™.
Other oils may be used if they meet one of the following:
- John Deere Standard JDM J20C
- John Deere Standard JDM J20D
Use the following oil when a biodegradable fluid is required:
John Deere™ Bio Hy-Gard™ 1 1
