Clean Hydraulic Oil Suction/Sump Screens

SERVICE INTERVAL — AS INDICATED OR REQUIRED SERVICE *

 

NOTE: * Perform this service only if hydraulic system performance is slow or degraded and after all other solutions were performed.

  1. NOTE: Use an oil drain container to hold the hydraulic oil reservoir capacity of 124 L (32 gal).

    Hydraulic Sump Screen

    A - Hydraulic Sump Screen Lines

    Park tractor on level ground and shut engine OFF. Allow oil to cool for few minutes.



  2. Attach a hose to hydraulic reservoir drain valve in gudgeon area at rear of reservoir. Open drain valve to direct oil into a catch container.

  3. Disconnect hydraulic lines (A).

  4. Remove or flush both hydraulic oil suction/sump screens. Use cleaning solvent to flush and dry with air.

  5. Reinstall both suction/sump screens.

  6. Check hydraulic reservoir oil level and refill as required.
