Configuring Tractor For GPS/Radar

NOTE: Tractors equipped with radar must be re-configured if switching to GPS as the true ground speed input signal.

To configure tractor:

Remove Plug

A - Screws

B - Power Strip

C - Radar Plug

D - GPS Plug

E - Tractor Wiring Connector

F - Dust Cap

  1. Remove screws (A) and power strip (B), if equipped, or cover plate.
  2. Locate inside right-hand console a wire lead marked GPS and one marked Radar.
  3. Remove radar plug (C) from tractor wiring connector (E).
  4. Remove GPS connector (D) from dust cap (F).
  5. Attach GPS connector to tractor wiring connector.
  6. Attach dust cap to radar plug.
  7. Reinstall power strip or cover to console with screws.

Tractors not equipped with radar, but wanting to add a GPS signal require two controller addresses to be changed. Contact your John Deere dealer for assistance.
