Fuel Storage
IMPORTANT: Proper fuel storage is critical. Use clean storage
and transfer tanks. Periodically drain water and sediment from bottom
of tank. Store fuel in a convenient place away from buildings.
Avoid storing fuel over long periods of time. If there is a
very slow fuel turnover in the fuel or storage tank, a fuel conditioner
may need to be added. This conditioner can be poured directly into
fuel tank or bulk storage tank.
NOTE: To reduce fuel gelling and control wax separation during
cold weather, John Deere Fuel Flow Improver, or equivalent, may be
added to fuel or bulk storage tank.
