Replace Master Fuse

IMPORTANT: Fuse replacement must be the same rating as the original.

See your John Deere Dealer for replacement fuses or relays.

Do not attempt to disassemble master fuse unless instructed by your John Deere dealer. Insure both negative (—) and positive (+) battery connections are disconnected from both batteries prior to fuse inspection or replacement.

    A - Cover

    B - Nuts

    C - Master Fuse

    Disconnect battery ground (-) cable.



  2. NOTE: A master fuse (C) is located on left-hand side of tractor. Master fuse is connected across both posts of junction box.

    Open master fuse cover (A).

  3. Remove nuts (B).

  4. Identify, label, and disconnect wires.

  5. Remove master fuse (C) from both posts.

  6. IMPORTANT: Master Fuse (250 Amp) has been specifically designed. Do not substitute parts or damage could result to the electrical system.

    Install master fuse (C), and connect wires.

  7. Install nuts (B) and tighten.

  8. Close cover (A).
