Maximum engine speed can be adjusted from 1100—2200 rpm. Changes to rpm setting take place immediately.

FieldCruise™ utilizes a constant speed governor curve, providing instant response to varying loads.

Limiting engine speed in light load situations may improve fuel economy.

Selecting appropriate CommandCenter™ transmission setting is the preferred method of controlling engine rpm, but FieldCruise can be used for certain field applications such as for a PTO operation.

NOTE: Use of FieldCruise™ reduces availability of power bulge and is not recommended for heavy tillage applications.

How To Activate FieldCruise™:

1. Select Engine on the menu page.

2. When engine page appears, select FieldCruise™ Settings soft key (C).

NOTE: When FieldCruise™ On/Off soft key (C) is selected, it toggles FieldCruise™ on or off and displays check box (D) either checked for FieldCruise™ ON or unchecked for FieldCruise™ OFF.

How To Adjust Engine rpm:

1. NOTE: When FieldCruise™ Settings soft key (A) is selected, rpm input box (B) is high lighted.

   Select FieldCruise™ Settings soft key (C).

2. Use the rpm input box (B) to select desired engine rpm speed. Rotate thumb wheel forward to increase engine rpm or rearward to decrease engine rpm.

3. When engine speed is set, move off screen and selected rpm is saved.
