SERVICE INTERVAL — 250 HOURS

NOTE: Rotate PTO shaft so fittings can be easily accessed for lubrication.

Use John Deere SD POLYUREA GREASE is preferred or grease as specified in Fuels, Lubricants and Coolant Section.

  1. Lubricate front shaft fitting (A) located between transmission and PTO clutch.

  2. Remove four cap screws (B) and remove PTO shield (C) for access to rear shaft lubrication fitting.

  3. Lubricate rear PTO shaft fitting (D) located after the PTO clutch.

  4. Reinstall PTO drive shaft shield with cap screws and tighten cap to specification.
