A - Transmission/Axle Oil Filter

INITIAL — 1500 HOURS

SCHEDULED — 1500 HOURS *

* Interval can vary according to operating conditions

  1. NOTE: Use a drip pan to catch any oil spilled when transmission oil filter is removed.

    Remove transmission oil filter (A), located in area between engine and transmission.

  2. Install new filter and tighten one-half turn after gasket contacts filter housing base.

  3. Check transmission/hydraulic/axle reservoir oil level and fill as required. See Checking Transmission-Hydraulic Reservoir-Axle Oil Level-24-Speed POWRSYNC procedure in Lubrication and Maintenance Daily Section 102.
